I am Belén Picazo, a product and packaging designer. I currently work at You Are The Princess, developing products and packaging for different brands and adapting each proposal to its identity and visual universe.

Skills
As a designer, I am interested in transforming ideas into visual proposals with personality and coherence. My experience combines product and packaging design with branding, illustration, concept art and character creation, exploring different languages and tools depending on the needs of each project.

Branding
I develop visual languages that give personality and coherence to a brand, from the definition of graphic resources to their application across different formats. I also work on existing identities to adapt and evolve them while keeping them current.

Product design
I develop visual proposals for physical products, exploring form, colour, graphics and finishes to create pieces that are attractive and coherent with their identity. I am especially interested in finding the balance between the idea, the product aesthetic and the way it is presented to the public.

Illustration
I use illustration as a tool to build ideas, characters and visual worlds. I work mainly digitally and adapt the style, technique and level of detail to the language required by each project.

Packaging
I design packaging with the product as part of a brand universe. I develop the concept and graphics through to the different applications needed to take the proposal into production, taking care of both the visual impact and the coherence and details.

Concept art
I explore ideas through characters, environments, objects and visual worlds, aiming to build concepts with their own identity. I particularly enjoy the phases of exploration and development in which an idea gradually takes shape and becomes a defined visual proposal.

Generative AI
I integrate generative AI tools into my creative process to explore ideas, develop concepts and create visualisations. I combine them with design, composition, editing and retouching to maintain control over the visual direction and adapt the result to the needs of each project.
